Samuel Kim, MD

Dr. Samuel Kim is a board-certified rheumatologist. He is excited to be in the Atlanta area and to join the Arthritis & Rheumatology Center team. Dr. Kim grew up in Santiago, Chile, and attended medical school in La Paz, Bolivia, where he was born. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, California. His fellowship in rheumatology was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Most currently, he worked as a rheumatologist in Jacksonville, Florida, for nine years.

Dr. Kim treats all aspects of rheumatology. He especially has interest in lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica and Sjögren's syndrome. He feels the most fulfilled when he sees patients rejoice in gaining back basic and necessary functionality in their lives, which had previously been lost to them due to rheumatological issues.

In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys good food, car detailing and time spent with his family.

Dr. Kim is fluent in Spanish, Korean and English.
